Frequently Asked Questions

No. For us to offer the best value for money for customers, we need some time to select the right kit at the right price from our suppliers. Available technology and supplier prices are constantly changing, therefore each solution and price are bespoke. We will select the right equipment to suit your needs and send you a no obligation quote within 2 working days in most cases.

No, we professionally install Starlink systems that have been purchased by the customer. We would have to charge an administration fee for managing a customer’s Starlink account and we don’t think that is good value for money for the customer.

Yes we can provide Starlink hire. If you need it for a month or longer we will install it temporarily and bill you for a month at a time in advance. The minimum hire length is 1 month due to the Starlink billing system.

Once we receive the quote back from you agreeing to go ahead, we will order the equipment and arrange an installation date when it arrives. Simple systems will take about a day to install. More complex systems may take longer. We always configure your system at our workshop prior to installation in order to check functionality and to cut down install time.

Yes, Starlink can support VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) phone calls, but with some considerations. While Starlink's latency is lower than traditional satellite internet, it can still be higher than fibre or cable connections. This can lead to delays or "lag" during calls, particularly during periods of high network congestion or obstructions.

For homes with thick walls, a mesh WiFi system is the most effective solution to ensure strong, reliable WiFi coverage throughout the house. Mesh systems create a network of multiple access points that work together to blanket your home with WiFi, unlike traditional routers that can struggle with thicker barriers. Larger homes may require more nodes for complete coverage.

We can assist you in choosing the right mesh system for your property.

We have selected partners that provide a 1 year warranty, we always set up remote access to your systems that allows us to see the functionality of the equipment but does not allow us to see your data. Using this access we will maintain the firmware for 12 months from the date of installation so that your security is up to date.

If we have remote access to your system we can make configuration changes such as WiFi network names and passwords free of charge. If we have to visit to make changes we will charge an hourly rate.

Absolutely, it’s your system.  If you choose to self-manage your system we will set you up on it but we will not be able to manage it for you after that.

Yes we do. We can provide selected area or whole site WiFi for all sorts of events ranging from marquees to festivals to country shows. We can provide customer setup systems that we hire out and train the customer to use or a fully installed system that we manage.  We can even offer WiFi dedicated to Card machines which offers your attending vendors and visitors the convenience of card payments.

Yes we can provide WiFi for any business. We can set up various customer interfaces to allow the business to have their own network and your customers to have a network log on page as they access the network. Give us a call and arrange a demonstration.

Business continuity is the ability for a business to continue to provide its services to the customer in all circumstances. Many businesses have their business applications in the cloud so access to the internet is vital. We provide systems that ensure that their Internet connection is always there. If a business can no longer access their normal workplace we can provide an internet connection and WiFi in an alternative location or allow staff to work from home. Give us a call and discuss your business continuity needs.

Yes we can provide internet access for individual caravans, holiday homes, chalets or the whole site.  Additionally, we have designed a touring caravan and recreational vehicle mount for Generation 3 and Mini Starlink dishes.  The mount is fixed in place to the top of the vehicle and securely houses the dish while the vehicle is moving.  It provides protection for the dish from low hanging tree branches.

We choose equipment that is very reliable. Under most circumstances the equipment we supply will work for many years as long as it has power. We can even provide battery backup to ensure that it will continue to work when the power fails.  Have a read of the comments from our customers under Testimonials on our Home Page.
